Working closely with the industry's best sports medicine product designers, apparel architects, doctors, and industry specialists, the Sandsoxx technology was created. Our goal is to help with all foot conditions that cause pain and discomfort, speed up recovery, and promote healthy feet.
From Our Founder
Playing sports at a high level and being an athlete my whole life, I have put a lot of wear and tear on my body. I used to wear football cleats that were a full size too small to run faster (not sure if it actually worked). Our feet are our wheels, and they get us from point A to point B fast or slow. From sprinting on a field to hiking the mountains in British Columbia I have put some kilometers on my feet. I came to realize early on that we need to take care of our feet unlike any other body part...
The story of Sandsoxx began in the Spring of 2017 when I was vacationing on the East Coast of Australia. For a month prior to the trip, I was suffering from bad foot pain caused by plantar fasciitis (PF). As a practicing Orthotist, I wanted to fix this prior to the trip so I tried everything in my arsenal: icing, heating, stretching, toe spacers, orthotics, massage etc. Nothing worked so the plantar fasciitis came with me.
I went for a 20 min walk on the beach as soon as I arrived. The sand was hot. As most people that have been exposed to PF know, the first couple steps after being sedentary are the worst. Some would describe it like walking on shards of glass. My first steps after the walk on the sand were unlike anything I had experienced in the past month! The pain had significantly decreased!

Amazed, I went for a second walk later that day at sunset and made sure to walk on the ‘cooler’ sand. What a difference! I did this for two more days and the pain was gone! It was then I knew I had found something special!

I am personally very excited about our new technology, and the new methods of treating foot pain. We will be adding new products, improving on the technology, and creating new methods of bio feedback to enhance the individuals experience while using our products.
